Slideshows
They’re called slideshows, webshows, audio slideshows and sometimes just “multimedia”, but whatever you call them, they’re one of the most effective (and cost-effective) presentation techniques available.
Slideshows give a lot of bang for the buck. With the addition of a simple soundtrack, a folder of photos can suddenly become an immersive piece of multimedia. Instead of hoping customers will click on a row of thumbnail images you can “take them on a journey” with a slideshow and include a “call to action” at the end.
And because they’re usually much less bandwidth-hungry than video you can often “go large” and have bigger images and longer shows.
For example, slideshows can include large format PowerPoint slides which would be impossible to read in video. They’re excellent for portfolios, real estate, lectures, detailed how-to instructions and times when a presentation is largely a “talking head”, or is quite long.
If you’ve got a lot of information to convey, or need high-quality full-screen imagery, then slideshows are the best choice.
We’ve supplied copies of our shows to Australian Defence Force personnel serving overseas (Anzac Day show); and the Solomons (Operation Anode); as well as to schools and colleges from Launceston, Tasmania, to Kentucky in the USA.
They’re extremely effective and one of our specialities.
