Launceston’s Tramway Museum Group plan to establish a “Heritage Transport Hub” at Inveresk. Here’s a short video made for a presentation that incorporates original archive footage, footage by the Group, and our own footage tied together in a “silent movie” concept.

A simplle stand-up to-camera piece wa stransformed using green screen and some fairly straightforward graphics. By adding a few sound effects the video took on a slightly humourous feel. At five minutes it’s a long video, but stands up well.

Something from almost nothing

Here we took a static-camera video from a university, edited the talk to its highlights, overlaid the PowerPoint slides as transparencies and full-screen views. Note the little touches such as the drifting cloud at the bottom of the slides, title slide, as well as the intro and outro sequences with signature music theme.

A year in review piece for a national news site. We did the entire piece from picture selection, captions, production, compression and upload to the music score, which our version of Albinoni’s Adagaio in G. The Sun & a Psalm

This show is an excellent study in mixing different formats, mediums and materials. The audio track is a reading from the Bible (recorded over the phone and then treated), the video is a mix of animated still shots and a wide variety of source video. There are AVI files, MOVs, and WMVs all of differing original resolutions and framerates. A great example of smoothly integrating a variety of sources.

We did the full production on this one from concept to final file compression. A mix of video and still images. Note the “flat 3D” effect used to give depth and three-dimensional perspective to the images (see it in action on the first image).
