A hero’s vision of Gallipoli

When previously unpublished photographs of the Gallipoli operation were uncovered of course they deserved a gallery online. But pictures alone, no matter how good, usually lack the intensity of a multimedia piece. But what soundtrack would be appropriate ? As well putting this show together, we tracked down the obscure "Boys of the Dardanelles" song held by the University of California, and did extensive audio restoration work on it. Subjects such as Gallipoli need careful treatment. (more…)
