MultiMediaAction is owned and operated by Richard Pree. I originally trained as a journalist in Sydney and worked on papers such as The Telegraph and The Australian. I worked in various roles including news reporter, subeditor, page designer, production editor, systems director, web designer and finally as The Australian’s web editor. Together these roles gave me a deep understanding of how to organise and present information – and how to do it efficiently and to a rigid deadline.
Two holidays in Tasmania was enough to completely mesmerise me and I knew that’s where I had to live. So with my young family we “treechanged” to historic Launceston and I created MultiMediaAction.com. I’m also a volunteer presenter on City Park Radio, am a keen photographer and videographer and do occasional work as a content-maker for the ABC.
